LIBRI-GRANT BOOKS ARE HERE

The Bridgeport Public Library received 70 Accelerated Reading children’s books from the Libri Foundation. After WalMart in Scottsbluff graciously donated two bicycles for the fundraiser, the Friends of the Bridgeport City Library sold raffle tickets for the bikes and used the proceeds to match the grant for these 70 books. All turned out well for the FOL and as you can see, these books are already producing smiles. Pictured is Lori Leonard (staff) with a few of our young readers, helping unpack the new books. A list of the books are available at the library. Books are available for checkout. Thank you Walmart. Thank you Friends of the Library. Thanks to all who bought tickets and helped with this project.

Books, magazines, cassettes, and cd loan periods are 2 weeks. Current magazines are 1 week only. Video/ DVD loan periods are 3 days. Reference material cannot be checked out.

FREE-FRIDAYs

Any items overdue, bring into the library (not the book drop) on Fridays during regular business hours to waive your overdue fees. Free-Friday does not apply to new releases.

DO YOU HAVE A LIBRARY CARD?To use any of the library services, including the internet, it is required you have a library card and be in "good standing" with library. Registration of library card is free of charge.
